Today we decided to walk the length of the island, along the exposed southwestern shore.
As we depart the wind is beginning to show itself on the harbour:

Here a couple of the summer residents are playing horse-shoes on the bluff. I suppose the wind made it a little more challenging.
Who can guess what animal left this behind? Clue: It is a very large animal with huge horns.

By the time we got back to the harbour things were getting whipped up a bit with the 40 knot winds with gusts to 50. Evergreen was rocking and rolling at the dock each time a gust would hit.
